Al Saraya Center for Community Services was registered in 1990 as a nonprofit organization by the mother establishment project loving care society.  The Centre is located in the midst of the Islamic quarter in the Old City, in an area called Aqabat al-Saraya which is few meters far away from the Aqsa Mosque and Holy Sepulcher. Since its inception until now, the Center devoted its services to ease the impact of the suffering inflected on its people since 1967. In order to achieve their ambitions, accompanied with the generous support of the Welfare Association Organization in Genève and a number of other organizations, Al Saraya was inaugurated in 1991 out of deep faith in the importance of such programs and projects that help in making a positive change in the lives of women, children and youth.
